Hello sweet Dinglehaus!
So you were in Nepal? I hope you are still dreaming and wanting to achieve better things here in the States after that humbling experience- such as life is. I’ve been living in the woods and not really keeping in good contact with others, but a trip over to Waterville Valley (where my fiance works at a place called The Rey Center for The Center for Mountain Stewardship…) provides time for electricity. So where are you living? We live in Warren, on rt 118 across the mountain from Lincoln. Our friends from the Adirondacks are (we think) working at Pinkham and living in Conway somewhere… Devin and Jocelyn. We need to make a trip out there soon to IME, and most likely, Flatbread or the Indian restaurant. We should get together! I think of you sometimes, the craziness that ensued as we got closer and closer to Phatty K, the joy and feeling of empowerment, being able to dream and reach the stars… It has stayed close to my heart and I am trying to live the life of a steward to our Mother. It’s a tough road but with faith, one is unconquerable. I wish you wellness and peace. Be kind!
Love,
Seraphim

Hi Dingle,
I loved your 2004 AT photos. Your further adventures are amazing. I treasure the days I spent on the AT in 2004. Scenes flicker thru my mind’s eye daily. I spend my days sitting at a computer now and am very conflicted about it. I hiked NY to VT in 2005 (just missed seeing Skirt who was a day ahead of me with her dog). I was all set to go back to VT in 2006, but visited Cleveland to see a new love instead. Now I am trapped in Cleveland with a job and living with a woman. It’s good, but at heart, I’m trail addicted and there are no trails here. Help!!!
